Owing to ongoing challenges in flower supply, substitutions might be necessary in your order. Rest assured, we will use the freshest seasonal flowers available in our store. We commit to crafting arrangements that align closely with your original selection.
For any alterations in card messages or delivery addresses, please inform us at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Failing to do so might mean we’re unable to incorporate the desired changes.
Translation Policy – Bourke’s Florist
At Bourke’s Florist, we typically retain the card message in its original language as provided during the order. If you’d like the message translated to a different language, please mention it in the ‘special instructions/comments’ section of the order form. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. However, please note that while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the translation’s exactness or ensure that every translation request will be feasible.
2. Weekend and Public Holiday Deliveries – Bourke’s Florist
While we strive to deliver orders specifically on Holidays such as Mother’s Day, Christmas, or Valentines Day, the high demand during this period may affect exact delivery dates. For orders intended for Mother’s Day, we may deliver between Friday and Sunday of that weekend. Please note that specific delivery times during these days cannot be guaranteed.
Flowers – Saturday Deliveries:
At Bourke’s Florist, we aim to fulfill flower deliveries across most regions of Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland for orders placed before 10am in the recipient’s time zone. However, certain rural and remote areas may not have Saturday deliveries available. If you have doubts or specific requirements, please get in touch with our main office for clarification.
Our general delivery timelines may vary during peak floral occasions such as Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas. Kindly refer to our website for specific cut-off times during these special days.
Flowers – Sunday Deliveries:
While we strive to meet every demand, Sunday deliveries are typically not guaranteed and might be unavailable. If you have a preference for Sunday delivery, we recommend reaching out to Bourke’s Florist in advance to discuss potential arrangements.
Flowers – Public Holiday Deliveries:
Considering that most courier services do not operate on public holidays, we usually cannot guarantee flower deliveries on these days. Any orders placed on public holidays will likely be dispatched on the subsequent business day. A comprehensive list of public holidays can be viewed on our website.
Please be aware that our gift items cannot be delivered on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Any orders received during weekends or on public holidays will be sent out on the following Monday or the next available business day.
Important Note: Deliveries destined for areas that are distant from our main gift suppliers or locations considered remote may experience extended delivery times. Typical shipping durations can be found on our order forms and detailed product descriptions, but these are not absolute guarantees.
3. Bourke’s Florist Privacy & Security
Regarding online transactions, our website is fortified with McAfee Secure. This ensures all information exchanged is encrypted, protecting it from unauthorized access. Click on our site’s secure icon to view the digital certificate details. For added security during payment, you’ll be redirected to our bank’s site to safely input your payment details.
4. Recipient “Not at Home” – Bourke’s Florist Policy
Bourke’s Florist endeavors to ensure timely deliveries, but we cannot be held accountable if the recipient is not present at the specified delivery location. As the customer, it’s vital that you confirm the recipient’s availability at the given address on the selected delivery date.
Should a contact number be provided with the order, our courier might call the recipient to confirm their presence before attempting delivery. In the absence of a contact number, the courier will proceed with the delivery as scheduled.
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier will typically leave a “not at home” card at the recipient’s address, detailing the situation and requesting them to get in touch with us.
In cases where the delivery location is deemed safe, the order may be left at the address. If successfully left, this will be considered a completed delivery. If you prefer your order not to be left unattended, please specify this in the special instructions when placing the order.
Bourke’s Florist will strive to redeliver should the recipient respond to the “not at home” card. Please note that additional charges might apply for multiple delivery attempts or the recipient may need to pick up the order from our premises.
