For a hospital we suggest a compact arrangement in its own container rather than a tall bouquet — it sits easily on a bedside table and needs no vase. Each one is arranged fresh on the day by an expert florist in our nationwide network and delivered to the ward the same day when you order by 2pm.
Please add the patient’s full name, the ward or room and the hospital address at checkout. Some wards, such as intensive care and some cancer, haematology and neonatal units, don’t accept fresh flowers, and a few hospitals refuse them altogether. Check the hospital’s own rules in the list below, or ask the family. If flowers can’t go to the bedside, sending them to the family home is a thoughtful alternative.

Can you deliver flowers to a hospital?
Yes — we deliver to hospitals, same day to every major city and most towns when you order before 2pm on a weekday. Add the patient’s name, ward or room number and the hospital address at checkout.
What details do you need for a hospital delivery?
The patient’s full name, the ward or room, and the hospital’s name and address. The more detail you give, the more smoothly the flowers reach the right bedside.
What if some wards don’t allow flowers?
Intensive care is the most common, and some hospitals add cancer, haematology or neonatal units; Queensland Children’s Hospital refuses flowers altogether. The hospital list on this page shows each hospital’s own rules. If flowers can’t go to the bedside, sending them to the family home is a lovely alternative.
What happens if the patient has gone home?
If they may be going home soon, send the flowers to their home address instead. If you’re not sure, check with the family before you order.
